Role Summary
The Construction Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of new Hydration Room clinics. Reporting to the VP of Expansion, this position manages the administrative and coordination aspects of construction, including permitting, landlord approvals, scheduling, vendor communication, and project documentation. The Construction Project Coordinator ensures projects progress smoothly from site vetting through opening day, aligning cross-functional teams so clinics open on time and on brand.

Reports to : Vice President, Operations and New Stores
Hourly Rate : $25 - $30

Key Responsibilities
Permitting & Compliance : Manage plan-checks, permits, landlord approvals, inspection schedules, and compliance records. Coordinate with city planning / zoning and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
Project Scheduling & Coordination : Build and track project timelines, align construction milestones with hiring and marketing needs, and coordinate contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors.
Vendor & Warehouse Support : Liaise with signage, F&E, IT, and other vendors; support warehouse staff in preparing and shipping opening kits; ensure timely deliveries and installations.
Communication & Process Improvement : Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders, act as a central point of contact during openings, and help refine SOPs and processes for greater speed and consistency.
Required Skills
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in multi-site retail / healthcare buildouts, construction coordination, or project administration.
Working knowledge of state and city permitting and inspections.
Strong vendor coordination and schedule management skills; able to manage many moving parts with urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level updates.
Fast learner on new platforms and systems.
Willingness to travel to job sites for walks, installs, inspections, and openings (up to 20% travel).
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed for tasks such as filing, organizing project materials, or conducting on-site walkthroughs.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., project binders, signage, or small equipment).
Occasional travel to construction sites, which may involve walking over uneven terrain, climbing stairs or ladders, and exposure to construction environments (noise, dust, weather conditions).
Visual acuity and manual dexterity required for reviewing plans, specifications, and detailed project documents.
