Are you an experienced and enthusiastic salesperson passionate about delivering results for your customers while supporting local journalism in Maine?

The Outside Media Sales Consultant contributes to the Maine Trust for Local News advertising revenue goals (print, digital, events, sponsorships, and other initiatives) by achieving monthly sales targets within your territory. You will have the opportunity to professionally present and sell advertising and marketing opportunities across our portfolio of products and services to existing and potential clients.

Who is Maine Trust for Local News? We are a network of daily and weekly print publications with the largest digital reach in the state. Our publications include the Portland Press Herald, Kennebec Journal, Morning Sentinel, Sun Journal, Times Record, Forecaster papers, and more! Our sales team members can sell seamlessly across all publications within our network to deliver optimal results for our clients.

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with local businesses
• Proven sales experience, fluent in digital media
• Familiar with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong computer skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
