About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Technologist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Surgical Technologist to join a high-performing surgical team in Grand Junction, CO . This full-time role involves rotating shifts and requires a strong understanding of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment

Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field

Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly

Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens

Count sponges, needles, and instruments to maintain patient safety

Clean and restock OR after procedures

Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

1+ year of recent surgical tech experience preferred

BLS certification required

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work rotating shifts

Familiarity with various surgical specialties and equipment
