Healthcare Superintendent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of construction are carried out efficiently and safely, while adhering to project timelines and budgets to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations on construction sites
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor crews
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, ideally with healthcare experience
  • Experience with HCAI / OSHPD preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
  • Experience with ground-up construction and tenant improvements (TI)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management software (e.g. Prolog), and Scheduling software (e.g. Primavera)
  • Bachelor's degree a plus!
