Facility : A medical center delivering access to comprehensive care from some of the most experienced physicians in Kansas.

Opportunity :

  • Well-respected and established Neonatology practice in Wichita, KS, is recruiting for a Neonatologist who is interested in an evolving QI team-based management opportunity
  • Full-time BC / BE Neonatologist position available
  • 8-physician practice at Wesley Medical Center
  • Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on 7-week rotating schedule. 1.0 FTE does approximately 170 hours per month of in-house coverage.
  • Neonatologists provide in-house call and backup call from home.
  • Level-III, 60-bed NICU
  • 6,000 deliveries each year at the hospital
  • The intensive and special care units average around 1,000 admissions annually, with an average daily census of 54
  • All services except ECMO and heart surgery
  • Supported by residents and nurse practitioners
  • Affiliated with KU School of Medicine Wichita, offers extensive QI and research opportunities
  • Qualify for federal school loan forgiveness program
