Application Security Engineer

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to join their Cybersecurity and Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Design and enforce secure coding standards aligned with OWASP and industry best practices

Integrate security tools into CI / CD pipelines for continuous security testing

Perform threat modeling, code reviews, and penetration testing to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3-5+ years of experience in application security or related technical security roles

Strong proficiency in Java, Python, React, or equivalent languages with emphasis on secure coding practices

Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and SaaS applications

Familiarity with security tools and knowledge of CI / CD processes and API security
