About the Role :

We’re looking for a dedicated Railcar Repairman to join our team and help keep America’s railcars rolling. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role involving 60% mechanical work and 40% welding . You’ll work in a heavy industrial environment, repairing and maintaining railcars to meet strict safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do :

• Safely work around railcars, tracks, and heavy equipment
• Perform mechanical repairs and welding (fluxcore preferred; MIG training available)
• Interpret work orders, blueprints, and schematics
• Weld, cut, gouge, grind, and assemble using hand and air tools
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety protocols
• Meet FRA, AAR, and customer quality standards
• Take a weld test to assess skills and training needs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
