Salary : $170K+ DOE

Location : Presidio of Monterey, CA

Clearance : Active Secret

Overview :

Connexus Hub is seeking a Data Center Lead to oversee daily operations of primary and backup data centers. This role ensures availability, backup integrity, and compliance of virtualized hosting environments.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead daily operations of VMware / Hyper-V virtual infrastructure.
  • Ensure daily incremental and weekly full backups, with quarterly restore validation.
  • Maintain 3-2-1 backup compliance and redundant power / cooling.
  • Apply monthly DISA STIG updates across servers.
  • Oversee hosting for academic applications, portals, and testing platforms.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in IT or related field.
  • 8+ years of system administration / data center operations experience.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified : Azure / Server Administrator.
  • Experience managing backup / restore validation and redundancy.
  • Clearance : Secret.
