First-time travelers accepted : No.

Contract length : 13 weeks.

Shift times : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM.

Weekends required : Every other weekend.

License required : State or Compact License at time of submission.

Floating required : May float to 4 Medical units.

Floating from Emergency Department depending on their needs may occur.

Patient population includes all surgical patients except cardiac, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, general surgery, and urology.

Pre / post-operative care for general pediatrics may be involved.

Staffing ratio : 1 nurse to 6 patients on a 40-bed unit.

Skills required include rapid response / code team utilization, IV therapy, medication management, wound care, and more.

Special equipment includes lift systems and bariatric beds.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more.

Daily patient census ranges from 25 to 30 patients.

References required.

Locals not accepted.

RTO must be submitted at the time of submission.
