Job Details

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or similar plus :

2+ Years of Quality Assurance or Testing Technician experience

Familiarity with testing standards, test protocols, and concrete materials

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Responsibilities :

Serve as a Test Witness for QA activities at a world-class, sole-of-its-kind North American testing facility

Oversee and verify approval testing for nails and concrete components in accordance with defined standards

Ensure technicians are following correct test procedures for approximately 10 standard tests

Learn, understand, and reference specific testing standards applicable to materials and performance validation

Manage inventory and track incoming concrete slab shipments, including associated concrete cylinders

Occasionally core concrete slabs to extract testing samples when cylinders are not available

Handle 30 lb. concrete samples for sample testing and quality checks

Perform a variety of additional tasks in slower periods, from labeling samples to facility maintenance and organization

Autonomously operate with minimal supervision
