Job Title

The incumbent to this position would be responsible for, but not limited to the following :

• Examination and processing of various applications including renewals, permits and license applications.
• Review applications to determine authenticity, acceptability, and accuracy of documents; determine if the documents meet the requirements of applicable laws and department policy and procedures.
• Documents to be reviewed include, but are not limited to contracts of sale, leases, financials, diagrams, personal data forms and criminal records. The candidate will also be required to research SLA legacy systems for applicant and premises history with the Authority.
• The candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication.
• The position requires the candidate to answer questions from the public on the requirements of various license types.
• They will be required to send written communications to applicants explaining deficiencies within the application.
• The ability to write reports clearly and concisely based on the facts of an application is a must.
• The candidate will need to be able to research, read and interpret various ABC laws, rules, regulations and policies governing the licensing process.
• Candidates may be asked to assist with various additional tasks which include, but are not limited to data entry, scanning, license / permit issuance and occasional face to face contact with the public.
• Other duties as assigned.
