job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDrive the preparation, review, and management of the budget Collaborate with FP&A, Facilities, Finance, and senior leadership to align capital planning with institutional priorities relating to the 5-year goal plan Track and analyze multi-year project budgets, expenditures, and funding streams. Validate cost estimates, update cash flow projections, and reconcile budgets vs. actuals. Ensure accurate capital accounting, classification, and asset tracking. Prepare financial reports, dashboards, forecasts, and scenario models. Coordinate with donors on funding sources. Contribute to board materials, grant requests, and funding applications. Recommend improvements to capital budgeting processes, tools, and reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field. 3+ years of experience in capital budgeting, multi-year planning, or project analysis. Strong knowledge with dealing in multiple ERP systems – Workday preferred Advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Knowledge of capital accounting, public procurement, and facilities planning. Experience in higher education, non-profit, government, or public sector preferred.
