CT & X-Ray Technologist - PRN

X-Ray Medical Services is seeking dedicated and experienced CT & X-Ray Technologists PRN to join our growing Richmond, VA area team. Must be available on the weekends. We are a leading provider of radiology and diagnostic imaging services, committed to delivering exceptional care directly to our patients. The CT & X-Ray Technologist utilizes their expertise in diagnostic imaging to operate CT & X-Ray scanning equipment safely and effectively, ensuring compassionate and timely patient care. By producing high-quality diagnostic CT & X-Ray scans, the CT & X-Ray Technologist plays a crucial role in assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

• Duties :
• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT & X-Ray scans
• Properly positions patients on CT & X-Ray scanning cradles and properly immobilizes patients with appropriate devices to obtain desired position
• Assures the quality of all images and confirms that all pertinent patient / procedural data is correct
• Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
• Maintain and clean equipment as required
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and assist in diagnosis.
• Requirements :
• Must be a licensed Radiologic Technologist registered by the Virginia Board of Medicine
• Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Excellent bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
