Job Summary : The Cabinet Builder will be responsible for constructing and assembling various types of cabinetries. Attention to detail and a passion for woodworking are essential for this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Select and prepare wood and other materials.
  • Operate woodworking machines, such as saws and milling machines.
  • Assemble cabinet components using hand tools and machinery.
  • Apply veneers, laminates, or other finishes.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with the design team to resolve any construction issues.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking.
  • Familiarity with safe operation of woodworking equipment.
  • Strong understanding of wood properties and other cabinet materials.
  • Excellent craftsmanship with an eye for detail.
  • Good math skills for precise measurements.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills.
