Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning

We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Planning to lead and elevate our client’s global finished goods planning and procurement operations. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic oversight with active execution—driving inventory health, supplier performance, and planning accuracy across a global network.

You’ll oversee a team managing a few dozen suppliers (80% international / 20% domestic), optimize ERP workflows in SAP , and play a key role in launching a new MRP system (SAP IBP or equivalent) in collaboration with IT and Operations. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, operational depth, and the ability to roll up their sleeves to deliver measurable results.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a global planning and procurement function covering a few dozen suppliers across multiple regions.
• Manage and mentor a small, capable team including a Director and two Purchasing Clerks.
• Drive the implementation of a new MRP system, partnering cross-functionally to ensure a successful rollout.
• Enhance ERP and planning processes within SAP and Salesforce , ensuring accurate data and efficient execution.
• Build and refine demand and supply planning frameworks that support accurate forecasting and operational alignment.
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure supply strategies meet business goals.
• Monitor and act on key metrics—inventory turns, supplier performance, and service levels—to improve planning outcomes.
• Strengthen global supplier relationships through proactive communication, accountability, and performance management.
