OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY :
Duke Access and Accommodation Services (DAAS, formerly the Disability Management System) provides guidance and assistance to ensure Duke University meets its responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADA), Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), and similar laws. This includes facilitating requests for reasonable accommodations and acting as a resource for anyone with questions arising in those areas. The Program Coordinator on the Employment and Visitor Accommodations Team is a critical member of the DAAS team by working directly with employees, visitors, various units, and other partners.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and responding to employee and visitor accommodation requests under Title I of the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and with the PWFA. The Program Coordinator will also respond to Religious exemption request.This includes advising and consulting with members of the University and Health System community including faculty, staff, applicants, and administrators. The Program Coordinator is expected to be an integral part of Duke's compliance framework while providing competent, consistent, and compassionate service through DAAS.

Anticipated Pay Range :
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $44,766.00 to USD $71,706.00. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
