Description :

We are seeking a registered nurse for the Labor and Delivery specialty.

The nurse will be responsible for providing care to L&D patients.

First-time travelers are accepted.

The position requires experience in high-risk deliveries and management of various obstetrical conditions.

Candidates must be skilled in fetal heart rate monitoring and administration of medications related to labor and delivery.

The ideal nurse will assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and provide postpartum care.

Successful candidates can expect to float to the Emergency Department when necessary, receiving quick orientation.

The nurse will have a patient ratio experience common in labor and delivery units.

Candidates should have experience with newborn assessment, collection of cord samples, and neonatal resuscitation.

The position also involves managing postpartum complications and providing lactation support.

A commitment to work 2 out of 3 major holidays is required.

Special attention will be given to candidates familiar with charting systems.

The role may include the administration of blood products and the management of intravenous therapies.
