Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and serve as a central figure in managing financial records, overseeing audits, and driving process improvements. This role offers the opportunity to lead initiatives that enhance financial transparency and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Accountant , you will :

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper reconciliation and timely processing.
• Manage the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
• Perform profitability and cost-benefit analyses to support business decisions.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and support their professional development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial aspects of business initiatives.
• Track and manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
