Overview
Position : After School Instructor at KIPP Public Schools Northern California (Stockton, CA). Part time, non-exempt, ~20 hours per week, 2 : 00pm–6 : 00pm, Monday–Friday. Reports to : Extended Learning Opportunity Program Director. Classification and Schedule : Part time, non-exempt school based position on school calendar.
Position Summary : The After School Instructor will work directly with a group of students, providing homework assistance, academic support and enrichment activities on site at one of our Stockton school locations. The ability to establish authority through leadership, communication, and patience is essential to success. Must be able to commit to working throughout the entire school year.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental
Physical : Ability to navigate school and classroom settings. Ability to access and utilize technology. Occasional lifting / carrying of equipment 1–35 lbs. Physical agility to move and position self to execute duties (kneeling, walking, pushing / pulling, squatting, twisting, turning, bending, stooping and reaching overhead).
Mental : Ability to handle deadlines and normal work standards, analyze problems and generate alternatives, work with interruptions, concentrate for long periods, read, perform routine math, and recall objects and people.
Environmental : School and in-person classroom environment with potential interruptions. Adhere to health and safety guidelines as outlined by CDC, CDE, and public health agencies.
