Position Details

We are currently looking for a motivated Project Coordinator to support our project management team working closely with design, construction, and various state and local agencies during the review, submittal and expediting process of our permits.

Responsibilities

• Coordination with local, State, and Government agencies to obtain record documents, maps, and plans for design purposes.
• Ability to interact with both internal / external project teams, and key agency staff during initial design phases and through the construction phases to ensure appropriate feedback, timely submittal and review or permit packages and their issuance.
• Assembles, checks, and submits permit packages either directly or through client's submittal personnel or portals.
• Expedites permit package preparation and throughout the permit duration until the completion of construction.
• Prepares permit submittal including, but not limited to, access permits, pre and post construction, traffic control, encroachment, roadway crossings both underground and overhead.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with client staff, public, permitting agency staff, and others contacted during the project duration.
• Inform the team of all new and any changes related to the permitting process.
• Keeps up to date on agencies permitting processes and procedural changes.
• Attends team and client work status meetings.
