Our client is a fully integrated commercial real estate investment, private lending firm with over 30 years of real estate experience. We are seeking a motivated individual who has experience originating debt and equity for commercial real estate. This an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join a growing, successful commercial real estate investment firm, in a fast paced, upward growth role.

Responsibilities to include ;

  • Train, review and manage deal intakes and workflows with Analysts.
  • Manage workflow of Analysts ensuring timelines are met, provide direction and focus on reaching underwriting goals.
  • Review Analyst's underwriting for accuracy.
  • Engage with brokers to win deals and build relationships.
  • Analyze deals for viability and work with broker or borrower toward a signed LOI.
  • Reach out to new potential borrowers / developers to discuss debt program and potential opportunities, attend conferences, work with marketing consultant.
  • Make presentations to brokers.
  • Negotiate deal terms.
  • Present deal capitalization recommendations based on UW models.
  • Manage speed and accuracy of Analyst drafting, review work out put.
  • Review and manage speed and quality of loan summaries and PPM for presentation to investors.
  • Attend conferences and events representing the company and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, preferably Real Estate or related field. Advanced degree, such as MRED desirable .
  • 2 years + in commercial real estate, capital markets, real estate finance or other related functions with originations experience.
  • Must be capable of managing the financing process from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of

    • information, analyze risk, and identify mitigating factors.

  • Experience coaching teams, guiding, directing, motivating.
  • Ability to manage several projects and work effectively as an individual and as part of the team as a project manager.
  • Strong communication skills that include the ability to express ideas in a persuasive, organized, and articulate manner to multiple parties including ownership.
  • Confident, self-assured, target driven work style able to work under pressure.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.
  • High proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
