Director, Business Strategy, Governance - Independent Contractor Earnings

Overview

Position Summary...Join us as a strategic leader overseeing governance, controls testing, global strategy, communications, and training for our independent contractor earnings ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to shape compliance and accountability at scale, drive organizational alignment, and influence the future of responsible engagement in the gig economy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead global strategy for independent contractor earnings, tax, and compliance processes.
• Develop and execute robust governance frameworks and end-to-end controls testing programs to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and operational consistency for contractor earnings, tax, & compliance.
• Define and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of governance processes, delivering transparent and actionable reporting to the senior leadership.
• Lead the design and rollout of global communications strategy for major compliance and governance initiatives, ensuring clear, consistent messaging across all levels and geographies.
• Drive transformational change by developing long-term strategies, piloting new processes, and championing adoption across cross-functional teams.
• Design, implement, and oversee scalable training programs that empower contractors, associates, and internal teams to maintain compliance and embrace organizational best practices.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
