Ready to make waves in the world of political talk radio? A leading national media company, partnering with Aquent, is searching for a Temporary Producer to join a prominent conservative talk show. As a Temporary Producer, you’ll be at the heart of the action, collaborating directly with the host and senior programming team. You’ll dive deep into research, curate compelling content, and manage the technical aspects of live broadcasts. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your political savvy with your production expertise, making a real impact on the show’s success.

What You’ll Do :

• Collaborate with the host and senior staff to develop engaging and relevant show topics.
• Research breaking news, political stories, and current events.
• Develop daily show rundowns, segment outlines, and editorial calendars.
• Screen listener calls and select compelling contributions for on-air discussions.
• Manage the show’s social media presence, posting live updates and promotional content.
• Edit and distribute standout audio clips for social media and on-air replays.
• Adapt to the evolving news cycle, ensuring timely and impactful content.
• Represent the show and the company positively, both on and off the air.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $24.19 to $26.88 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
