Koniag Professional Services LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Acquisition Portfolio Program Manager with a TS / SCI clearance to support KPS and our government customer at the Pentagon, in Arlington, VA. Koniag Professional Services (KPS) currently has an opening for an Acquisition Portfolio Program Manager for the Acquisition Integration and Interoperability (AI2) Office in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). The successful candidate will lead projects and activities in support of the efficient development of acquisition strategies, translating warfighting requirements into affordable and operationally effective capabilities. The candidate will design schedules and product roadmaps. The candidate will also monitor compliance with contractual requirements, identify and assess risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate with stakeholders.

Essential functions, responsibilities & duties may include, but are not limited to :

• Monitor multiple capability portfolio cost, schedule, and performance objectives to ensure continuous support to the warfighter.
• Develop program acquisition strategy; identify needs, conduct research, and draft capabilities needs statement, acquisition strategies, and acquisition plans.
• Review contracts, monitor program costs and schedule, identify risks, support risk mitigation efforts, and notify government officials if budget execution efforts are misaligned.
• Evaluate and prioritize DoD acquisition projects and programs based on their potential value, strategic alignment, and resource requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across DoD portfolio management to minimize potential negative impacts.
• Establish a robust stakeholder communication program. Communicate program status and risks to stakeholders, including leadership and end-users.
• Monitor and report to DoD officials the status of a project from its initiation to its conclusion, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.
• Identify necessary resources across distinct DoD capability portfolio managed assets and recommend allocation realignment that effectively meets project and program needs.
• Track and measure the performance of DoD projects and programs within the portfolio to ensure they are delivering expected results.
• Support the government lead to identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, including cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risks.
• Support the government lead to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other program managers, functional specialists, and stakeholders to achieve portfolio objectives.
• Assists other team members in other tasks and initiatives as needed to accomplish the overall mission.
