Security Officer DoD Secret Cleared Unarmed

As a Security Officer DoD Secret Cleared Unarmed in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and conducting routine patrols, while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor and report on conditions within the location, noting any unusual circumstances or security-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related matters as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities observed during patrols.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
