• Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect with a minimum of seven years in the field. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both historic preservation and innovative new construction projects and will excel in managing luxury, high-end client expectations. You will be a key player in our design team, providing leadership and mentorship to junior architects and draftspersons.

• Responsibilities :
• Lead architectural design projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and deliver exceptional design solutions.
• Oversee project management, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Coordinate with the design team and draftspersons to produce detailed drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and adherence to plans.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Qualifications :
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 7 years of architectural design experience.
• Proven experience in both historic preservation and new construction projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end, luxury projects.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Revit
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensed Architect qualified to stamp and seal plans in South Carolina.
• Must be able to live or drive to downtown Charleston daily during working hours.
