About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience :

Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty.

Telemetry experience required.

License :

Valid nursing license required.

Certifications :

BLS certified through American Heart Association only.

Must-Have :

Experience in an Academic Level I or II trauma center or similar size hospital.

EPIC experience required, preferred within the last 12 months.

Basic Arrhythmia experience required.

Description :

Evening and night shift from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Every other weekend or as per unit needs.

Patient ratio for general care is 1 : 4 and for IMC is 1 : 2.

Experience in a fast-paced environment providing care to acutely ill surgical and trauma patients is essential.

This role involves caring for both general care and IMC level patients in a step-down unit.

Critical thinking and teamwork are crucial.

The unit has a total of 26 beds, with 14 IMC beds and 12 general care beds.

Traveler may be required to float to other units depending on staffing needs.

Expectation to work with interdisciplinary support teams for enhanced patient care.

Health protocols, including advanced telemetry monitoring, will be part of duties.
