Position Summary : At Thorne, our material receiver is a very important part of our operations. Our hourly warehouse material receiver roles offer hands-on expereince in a clean, safe, and innovative warehouse environment with opportunities to grow and develop. Whether you're receiving incoming raw materials, verifying, inspecting, or entering data ensuring products meet our strict quality standards, every team member plays a critical role in delivering trusted solutions to our customers.

This application is for 1st Shift positions, 7 : 00am- 3 : 30pm plus overtime as required to meet business needs.

What you need :

• Minimum High school diploma or GED is required. Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to safely work with ingredients and products that are derived from possibly allergenic sources including, but not limited to, nuts, soy, dairy, fish, and shellfish.
• Receives and verifies incoming raw materials, ensuring accepted materials are in adequate condition by observing containers, cartons, bags and / or drums. Verifies materials are intact and not punctured, defaced or contaminated.
• Enters the received material into the computer system.
• Receives and verifies packaging materials received to ensure they are correct and in usable condition.
• Places raw material and packaging components in holding areas and ensures proper paperwork is affixed and complete. Assists in the segregation of rejected material, returns to manufacturer and disposal of rejected raw materials.
• Utilizes equipment (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.) in receiving area and ensures safety is not compromised.
