job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThis position is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Work schedule is night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week Level 1 Trauma facility Epic EMR is used and experience is required Patient care involves critically ill neonates Responsibilities include initial assessment, developing and implementing patient care plans, monitoring neonatal intake / output, medication administration, and assisting with breastfeeding and baby-friendly care Required to participate in multi-disciplinary rounds and ensure accurate documentation No travel partners are accepted for this assignment Travelers may not be assigned for more than one year without a 6-month break Requested time off may not exceed 7 days during the 13-week contract Scrub color or dress code not specified Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Minimum of one year of NICU nursing experience required, three years preferred Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred Current BLS and NRP certifications (American Heart Association) Level 1 Trauma experience required Epic EMR charting experience required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no locals) High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
