Hogan / COBOL Consultant

Introduction

Join our dynamic team as a consultant specializing in Hogan and COBOL technologies. This remote position offers an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a collaborative and innovative environment. The initial contract is for three months, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for our company.
• At least 5 years of experience with Hogan CIS, Deposits, and / or CAMS.
• Extensive knowledge of Hogan application components, such as Hogan Deposits, RPM, CIS, Umbrella, Client, ODS, and CAMS.
• Strong coding experience in CICS / VSAM and / or IMS / DB2, COBOL II, Easytrieve, JCL, MVS operating system, Expeditor, Endeavor, and / or Changeman source managers.
• Superior problem-solving capabilities and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in software design, development life cycle, and methodologies.
• Logical and analytical skills.
• Experience with Hogan Core Banking Applications.
• Knowledge of Hogan concepts such as Umbrella, PEM, CDMF, Librarian, Logical Environments, and Hogan Abend Identification and fixing both online & batch.
• Mainframe Skills : COBOL, VSAM & JCL.
• Mainframe Tools : Easytrieve, SORT Utilities, ICTOOL.
• Hands-on development, testing, and application design.
• Responsible for JCL programming, testing, conversion monitoring, and verification.
• Develop and enhance Front End support methodology for Business Analysts.
• Design, develop, install, test, and document complex applications software at client product installations.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components.
