Job Summary : \n\nWe are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to assist radiologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the interventional radiology suite. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nPrepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies.\n\nAssist physicians during IR procedures including vascular and non-vascular interventions.\n\nPosition patients and operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images.\n\nMonitor patient vitals and provide support during procedures.\n\nMaintain radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.\n\nPerform quality control and routine maintenance on imaging equipment.\n\nDocument procedures and patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).\n\nAdhere to hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.\n\nRequirements : \n\nCurrent ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (required).\nBLS certification (American Heart Association) required.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related imaging environment.\nStrong knowledge of imaging techniques, radiation safety, and patient care.\nAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.
