Apprentice

The apprentice is to learn to mimic the behaviors and techniques of the master technician, while learning the workings of the organization and the functions of the products and services we offer.

Responsibilities :

• Work with a lead technician to complete the daily workload
• Learn to assist the lead in the installing the doors, openers, and gate products
• Sticker door and operator with Safety and Company information
• Remove all door packaging debris and sweep garage and driveway clean of nuts / bolts etc.
• Learn to accurately record information including door data, photos, materials used, money collected, and further repairs needed
• Learn our Field Service Management software and the correct way to use it
• Load and unload utility trucks for the day, Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Maintain a clean shop – dispose of trash properly
• Communicate clearly with Team Leader any customer concerns or need for follow- up
• Seek to grow your product and industry knowledge
• Work safely and wear personal Protective Equipment, use tool guards
• Be aware of your surroundings and the range of motion or impact
