We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day locum tenens assignment at a medium security facility in Pennsylvania. This full-time opportunity starts on Nov 24, 2025, and offers day shifts from 8am to 4 : 30pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate should have experience with sick call, rounding, and preventative care, and correctional experience is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct sick call and patient rounding

Provide chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups

Operate preventative care clinics

Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed

Manage trauma triage and charting notes

Oversee medication refills and address medication non-compliance

Conduct morning PA / NP lines, including suture removal and follow-ups

Additional Information

Active Pennsylvania license required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Experience in corrections is a plus

Experience with EMR systems (Other)
