  • iWorld Professionals is seeking a BI / SQL Developer for our client in Buffalo NY. This position is a hybrid role.

Base pay range

$105,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

  • Development : Build deep expertise in internal SQL table structures, relationships, and integrity checks to deliver accurate analysis and reconciliations.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
  • Develop advanced T-SQL (stored procedures, views, triggers), data models, and ETL processes.
  • Work with SQL Server 2016+ using SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and SSIS Catalog.
  • Execute quality assurance and regression testing; promote changes to production with proper controls.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for procedures, workflows, and data sources.

    • Support & Maintenance

  • Provide second-level support for integrations and reporting issues; triage, resolve, and communicate status.
  • Administer reporting systems and integrations; monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and keep stakeholders informed.

    • Project Management

  • Contribute technical insight on internal and vendor-led project teams; assist with task planning, tracking, and periodic status reporting.
  • Review project specs for accuracy; collaborate with users and leadership to clarify requests and set priorities.
  • Minimum of 5 years supporting and developing SQL Server–based applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to build reports with SSRS and using SSIS for ETL.
  • 3+ years experience developing dashboards and analytics with Power BI.
  • Strong T-SQL, data modeling, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
