Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a dedicated professional with expertise in speech-language pathology within K-12 educational settings. This role focuses on providing essential communication support to students across two school locations in San Diego, California. The contract spans the 2025-2026 school year, requiring a commitment of 8 hours per week.

Qualifications :

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Professional Educator License for school-based practice
  • Experience with pediatric speech therapy, particularly in K-6th grade
  • Proficiency in teletherapy practices

Location :

  • San Diego, California
  • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
  • Implement strategies to promote effective communication in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and outcomes
