Responsibilities Work in an acute care surgical and bariatric unit within a hospital Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (18 : 30-07 : 00) Every other weekend required Patient ratios of 1 : 7 Floating to other units as required Med / Surg and telemetry patient populations Participation in the education and support of nursing students is expected alongside clinical duties General orientation begins on Sundays and includes 16 hours of nonbillable orientation with 4-5 hours of modules Candidates must not have prior engagements scheduled during the 12-14 days before start date to allow for required labs Scrub and dress code requirements pertaining to fit testing may apply First time travelers are welcome to apply No local candidates are accepted per a 100-mile radius rule Requirements Active TN or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years Med / Surg and telemetry experience required Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility Fit testing according to CDC guidelines requires facial hair to be trimmed or removed Candidates must complete drug testing within 12-14 days prior to start and be available for a second test if needed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615684.
