IT Director

We are working with an organization in the area looking to hire an IT Director. This is with a wonderful organization with a fantastic culture. This position is in office five days a week, and that is non-negotiable.

Some of the responsibilities include :

Develop and execute a long-term technology strategy

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including networks, backup systems, cybersecurity, servers, databases, equipment, phone systems, and security systems.

Research, evaluate, and recommend new and emerging technologies to enhance classroom learning, administrative efficiency, and overall infrastructure.

Partner with faculty, department chairs, and division heads to integrate developmentally appropriate technology into teaching and learning.

Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, and implementation of technology solutions.

Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of all network infrastructure.

Collaborate with academic leadership to support innovation in teaching and learning across campuses.

Manage and track all IT inventory.

Provide timely maintenance and user support for all technology resources.

Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate IT staff, while setting strategic direction for the team.

Develop and manage the IT department budget.

Stay current with trends in educational technology, infrastructure, and IT management.

Participate actively in professional organizations and attend relevant conferences.

Requirements :

Experience in the education industry

Bachelors Degree

8+ years of experience with information technology

Supervisory experience
