Patient Account Senior Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct follow-up activities on accounts, including contacting payors and patients to resolve outstanding balances

Research accounts using patient accounting applications and internet resources, documenting actions taken and maintaining productivity goals

Assist in training new or existing staff and participate in special projects to improve team performance

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent education

2-5 years of experience in Medical / Hospital Insurance related collections

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate technical skills, including proficiency in PC and MS Outlook

Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
