Job Title : Senior Tax Manager
Job Location : Waukesha, WI - Hybrid
Salary : $145,000-$185,000(DOE)
Requirements : 5+ Years of Public Accounting Tax
Position Overview
The Senior Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and planning for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic advice to clients to optimize their tax positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax savings opportunities and provide strategic tax planning advice.
- Review and oversee the work of junior staff and provide mentorship and training as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice to clients.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding their tax matters, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA certification required.Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on public accounting preferred.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.Experience with tax planning and consulting for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Benefits
