POSITION DETAILS AND DUTIES
FULL-TIME POSITION : EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY; TWELVE (12) MONTHS PER YEAR.
BASIC FUNCTION
The job of Interpreter / Translator is done for the purpose of providing support to District programs and policies in translating a variety of documents and interpreting for functions and meetings; documents to / from the target language primarily in support of the special education program.
This job reports to the Assigned Administrator.

STEP 2 - EXAMINATION
Written Examination-English / Bi-Literate-Spanish and Oral Examination-English / Bi-Literate-Spanish (may have multiple steps). The tentative examination process may include : application screening, initial qualifications screening, supplemental training and experience screening, documentation / certification screening, written examination, performance examination, illustration examination, and / or oral examination. Candidates will receive an email and / or regular mail notification of exam dates. It is your responsibility to provide correct contact information. Failure to participate may result in termination. Examination parts will be weighed by relevancy to job performance criteria.

EXAMINATION PROCESS
The District reserves the right to add, eliminate or adjust testing steps and information on the posting at any time during the posting and testing process. Adjustments may occur. Review of examinations can be requested by submitting the Examination Review Form within seven (7) working days of the result notice. Eligibility lists typically expire after one year, with possible extensions or merges as described. It is the responsibility of the candidate to monitor eligibility status.
