Summary :

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) , you will play a vital role in providing advanced nurse practice while administering anesthesia to patients. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and delivering anesthesia agents to surgical and obstetrical patients, all under the guidance of a delegating physician. The ultimate responsibility for anesthesia services lies with our Medical Director, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your Key Responsibilities :

In this dynamic role, you will :

• Assess patients peri-operatively, including performing patient history and physical exams.
• Review patient records and diagnostic test results to determine health status.
• Make post-operative rounds and provide education to patients and their families.
• Perform routine procedures such as drawing blood, administering various types of anesthesia, and placing NG tubes.
• Provide regional anesthesia under a delegating physician, including spinal and epidural blocks.
• Initiate and transcribe orders from collaborating physicians.
• Manage intravenous catheter placement and administer fluids, blood products, and medications.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as mechanical ventilation and resuscitation.

What We’re Looking For :

Qualifications :

APRN License in the state of employment.

Working Conditions :

This position is PRN , allowing for flexibility in your schedule. You will work on a Per Diem As Needed basis, providing you with the opportunity to balance your professional and personal life.
