Intensive Care Unit / Step Down Unit (Nights)

Position Summary :

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Step-Down Unit, making a meaningful impact on the lives of critically ill patients. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients in the ICU and Step-Down Unit, including comprehensive history-taking and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
  • Perform essential diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including intubation, central line placement, and medication management.

Qualifications :

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Florida.
  • Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner (ACNP or FNP) or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient situations effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • ACLS and BLS certification required.
  • EMR Cerner
  • Procedures are required

    • Work Schedule :

  • Full-Time Night Shift : 10 shifts per month from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.

    • Compensation :

  • This is a 1099 contract position, and compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
