Micron’s Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU) Memory Innovation team is dedicated to pioneering next-generation memory solutions for Datacenter and AI architectures. We work closely with internal and external partners to shape the future of memory technologies and guide strategic investments.

We are seeking a Memory Innovation Engineer to perform research for CMBU, focusing on advanced memory architectures as applicable to the rapidly growing AI / ML space with a focus on data center and cloud applications. Applicants for this position will engage in extensive technical collaboration, collaborate closely with internal leadership, and engage with external industry.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement a forward-looking innovative strategy for memory technologies in Datacenter and AI.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to solve complex technical challenges and identify growth opportunities.
• Contribute to the formulation of the business unit’s strategy related to memory technology investments, considering market trends, manufacturability, and ecosystem dynamics.
• Influence industry and customer directions to enhance CMBU’s long-term portfolio.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is :

$105,500.00 - $270,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
