A company is looking for a Coding Specialist (Full Time) Days-Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze medical record documentation to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes
Adhere to the Standards of Ethical Coding and official coding guidelines
Utilize coding classification systems in acute care and professional services settings
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma
Prior coding experience in ICD-10-CM and HCPCS / CPT coding
Certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC, or completion within 6 months of employment
Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT / HCPCS coding systems
Preferred : A.S. or B.S. in Health Information Technology or Management
