Associate Producer Job at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Associate Producer is a part of the Social & Digital Content team. The Associate Producer assists in creating content in both photography and videography. The role requires the ability to juggle multiple projects, assisting with research, casting and travel booking, prop pulling and working closely with producers, talent and outside vendors.Familiarity with and a passion for the great outdoors is a must.

In this role, you will work under the direction of more senior producers on large-scale digital productions from inception through final delivery. You will also lead small-scale productions, with oversight from senior production staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Assist Content Producers in the generation of content briefs.

Brainstorm, draft and pitch content ideas for use across all platforms.

Develop skills necessary to produce content across platforms.

Manage gathering of props and wardrobe for shoots.

Assist with sourcing models and talent for content shoots.

Assist Producers with shoot schedules and budgets.

Function quickly and efficiently to meet all deadlines

Handle the high-stress, live situations in a positive and constructive manner with peers, management, and across teams

Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :

High school Diploma (Required)

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field (Preferred)

Candidate has 1-3 years Professional experience in digital production (Required)

Knowledge of all stages of production

Position based at our Corporate Office in Springfield, MO

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY :

Must be able to work flexible hours and some weekends

Experience in digital content deliverables.

Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a broad range of constituencies.

Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with great attention to detail.

Comfortable liaising with clients and colleagues in a friendly and efficient manner.

Ability to trouble shoot and provide technical assistance to clients and team members

Resourceful and able to self-manage projects as well as execute on complex instructions using good judgment

Should be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS :

Travel is required for this role, and will be 50% of this job.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Regularly performs computer work, walks, and stands.

Occasionally sits and lifts up to 50 lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
