Job Summary :
The Registered Nurse in the NICU provides skilled nursing care to newborns, particularly those requiring intensive care. This role involves patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires experience in a Level III NICU setting and adherence to hospital policies.

Responsibilities :
- Provide skilled nursing care to newborns in the NICU.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (Epic).
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Assist with feeding and other routine care activities.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary interventions.
Required Skills & Certifications :
Active Registered Nurse license.BLS certification.NRP certification.Experience in a Level III NICU.Preferred Skills & Certifications :
Previous experience as a travel nurse.Special Considerations :
No travel pairs allowed.First-time travelers are welcome.The facility can call off one shift per two weeks.All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission and are subject to facility approval based on staffing needs.Scheduling :
3x12 hour day shifts.Specific shift times and scheduling details will be provided by the facility.
