AVStar NY is currently seeking an experienced 1st shift Quality Control Inspector for our Auburn, NY location.

Position Summary :

Perform inspection operations while working from drawings, customer specifications and process operating documents on moderately complex machined parts

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Inspects finished precision machined products, including in process, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., for conformance to company standards
• Inspects randomly selected samples to verify accuracy
• Familiar with precision measuring instruments and devices
• Perform first piece, first article and final inspection
• Offers suggestions to improve / enhance the inspection process
• Capable of interpreting blueprints
• Understanding of geometric tolerance
• Coordinates with personnel for resolutions to quality issues

Required Qualifications :

Key Competencies Include :

Pay Range : $20.00 - $24.00 depending on experience and shift
