Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrol

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure atmosphere, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 06 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Tuesday 06 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Wednesday 12 : 45 PM - 08 : 45 PM

Friday 06 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns within the location.
  • Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Hold a current armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
