Job Summary

Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Grove Family Medical Center location in Grove, OK. RMA certification if required. This is a full-time M-F position with no nights or weekends required. Schedule is Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am - 12pm. Timeliness and consistency are essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
• Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
• Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
• Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
• Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and / or training.
• Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.
• Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA / HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.
