Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon opening in Ocean Springs, MSThe clinic is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon to join our established and busy practice. Our practice is committed to a patient-centered, team-oriented philosophy and is staffed by three experienced CVT surgeons. If you are looking to make a significant impact in a supportive environment with cutting-edge facilities, we invite you to apply.Position Highlights : Practice Overview : - Established practice with a strong patient base- New hybrid cath lab dedicated to structural heart procedures, including TAVR and MitraClipReferrals : - Over 500 referrals annually, with 60% inpatient and 40% outpatient- Expected patient load of 100+ cardiac cases per yearSurgical Support : - Experienced open-heart surgical team available 24 / 7- Dedicated heart operating rooms at each facility- Call Rotation : 1-in-3 call schedule- Follow-up Care : Initial consultations performed by surgeons; NP / PA handles follow-ups at 1 week and 1 month- Certification : ABTS Certification requiredProcedures Performed : - Cardiac Surgery- Thoracic Surgery- Carotid Endarterectomies (CEA)- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA)- Structural Heart Procedures (preferred experience)Benefits Package : - Paid Time Off : Up to 6 weeks annually, including CME days- Continuing Medical Education (CME) Days- Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance- Retirement Plan- STS Quality IncentivesOur Community NetworkWe provide critical health services, numerous community outreach programs and charitable services and educational programs.
